One Year Later...

One year ago today Joe and I were boarding a flight to JFK hoping and praying that everything would work itself out. This was by far the hardest but best decision we have ever made. Now I do not want to worry my grandmother so I will say this. New York is absolutely perfect for Joe and I now, but there is no telling what the future holds or where we will live. Thank you to everyone who continues to show us support and a huge thank you to my mother who visited us 4 times during our first year in NY!

Memory Lane

Going through some of my Mom's pictures I came across these:

The first dress I put on was the ONE! It's strange to think this was over 2 1/2 years ago!
These days I am not able to wear my dress anymore because it is now a couple sizes too BIG! ;) Impressive I think!

Boston in Spring

Last month Joe and I drove to Boston to attend a wedding reception. This was one of the best receptions I have ever been to. The bride was nice enough to send me some of the photos from the evening. Enjoy:

Boston is now one of my favorite places!

4th Visitor of 2013

Okay, so my mom was both the 3rd and 4th visitor of 2013 but she just can't get enough of The Big Apple! Here is a recap of what we did while Mom was here:

I've recently started taking orders for my New York famous cookies and with a somewhat large order Mom was able to give me a hand while learning some of my secrets. ;)

Speaking of Baking... Mom and I took a cupcake decorating class and I must say these are not bad for our first attempt.

We followed tradition and had dinner at our favorite Mexican spot in Mount Kisco.

While Mom was here we had the delightful task of visiting the DMV and officially removing my California plates on my truck... Bye bye CA!

After a very VERY busy week Mom Joe and I set off to spend the day in the city and then send Mom off to the airport... This was our attempt to get a picture at the Mount Kisco train station.

One of Mom's requests was to go to Dylan's Candy Bar.

My Dad's heaven!

These are the dresses made on Project Runway made entirely out of candy from the store.

Moms first visit to Central Park!

We had a great time! Can't wait for her to visit AGAIN!

Let Laughter Happen

Over the weekend Joe and I were able to see our all time favorite comedian. We purchased these tickets months ago and were extremely excited to see Enrique Iglesias at the world famous Radio City Music Hall.

This was by far one of the best shows we've seen. We cannot wait to see him again!
Below is just a picture of Grand Central Station that I love...
