A couple weeks ago I had the honor of being a bridesmaid in one of my best friend's wedding. I got to spend three short days with the bride and groom and two additional days catching up with just some of my family members. I flew in on a Thursday morning and was headed back to the east coast 6am Monday morning. It was a whirlwind trip but I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
Jenny and I went to high school together but never met until after graduation. (She was one year behind me) Shortly after we became friends we became inseparable. A couple months down the road Jenny and I met Bobby (Her now husband) they instantly began dating but mutually decided to separate three months later. Year and YEARS after that I would always tease her about marrying Bobby which she would immediately shoot down while turning pink from head to toe. Long story short, they got engaged while visiting us in NYC and the rest is history:
It has been along time sense I have had a large group of friends in one place for a few days and really got the chance to hang out like old times. Weddings in general can be extremely stressful but in this case the joy and excitement outweighed the rest. Each and every time I look at the pictures from that weekend I wish we could all go back. Their wedding weekend was everything it should have been and more, all the guests left their daily stresses at the door and thoroughly enjoyed themselves for three full days!
